				<description>The Venus Riders Family Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Championship will be returning to Blackpool Sands, near Dartmouth TR6 ORG, for the third year in 2012. It <![CDATA[&]]>amp;rsquo;s the perfect competition for the whole family - even those who <![CDATA[&]]>amp;rsquo;ve never tried SUP before.
In 2012, the format will change from previous years. It is planned that the 'Summer Sizzler' Stand Up Paddleboarding competition (for 'professionals') will kick off the event on Saturday 2nd June.
Heats for the general public will be held on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday with finals on Tuesday 5th June. To enter, you MUST be 8+ years and register at 9:30am on the day. No previous experience is necessary.
Contestants have to complete a 100 metre course All entrants will be entered into a prize draw to win fantastic prizes supplied by the event <![CDATA[&]]>amp;rsquo;s sponsors. The competition is FREE to enter including all equipment.
