Totnes Castle is a focal point of Totnes and stands as a mighty legacy to the power of the Normans. It is one of the best surviving examples of an early Norman motte and bailey castle. The once great moat that surrounded the castle is now filled with cottages and gardens. Pinic in beautiful surroundings overlooking the town and the River Dart and see for yourself the commanding views from castle keep.
