Maori Flax Weaving Workshop
Saturday August 21st 2010 - Sunday August 22nd 2010
At Lupton House. 9:30am-5pm. £60. Join Ruth Port and Mandy Sunlight from New Zealand for a fun 2 day Maori weaving workshop. Learn basic weaving skills and Maori protocol around the art of Raranga/Weaving. Weave your own waikawa basket and a small kete. Places will be limited to 22 – so sign up as soon as possible.
