South Devon AONB – Explore the farm at lambing time

Sunday February 26th 2012

2pm-4pm. Come and see 500 ewes and their lambs with farmer Phil Bond at Collaton Down Farm. Explore the farm and maybe see some lambs being born. Find out how the farm is managed for wildlife as well as stock. The RSPB will be on hand to help you find out about the skylarks and other birds, which thrive here. Enjoy afternoon tea after the walk for £2.50. Not suitable to pregnant women due to proximity of new born lambs. Adult £4, child £2. Meet at Collaton Down Farm, Nr Halwell, off A3122 Totnes to Dartmouth road, TQ9 7DW.
